Name: Beetlefur
Age: 30 Moons
Gender: Tom
Allegiance: PineClan
Appearance: Beetlefur is a long-furred black tom with large paws and yellow eyes flecked with green. He has a flattened face and considerable underbite, slightly yellowed canines poking out from his lower jar. The black tom is built heftier than the average cat, though isn't of any uncommon size overall. Speed and grace is lost to his bulk and large feet, but Beetlefur has stamina that seems unmatched by many opponents- if this cat is headed somewhere, you're not going to stop him very easily.
Personality: Apart from some nasty-looking canines and a sharp gaze, Beetlefur is hardly a big scary nightmare of a tom. He's a relatively untroubled cat, not one to snap or complain without reason, or interrupt unless something seems dire. On the contrary, he's dutiful and motivated to get things done, if something needs moving, he'll move it; it only brings naptime closer. Despite his heft, Beetlefur will keep himself busy from dawn until dusk, he might not be fit but all that fidgeting and shuffling about his mind sharp and his wit's about him.
History: (I'm particularly bad at histories, so apologies in advance)
Beetlekit and his brother Antkit were born in the end-half of a rather lackluster Leafbare, to a queen named Pikeclaw. Despite having a fiery and more than cocky disposition, Pikeclaw wasn't the healthiest cat, often having to leave her kittens with other queens while visiting the Medicine Den for long periods at a time. This didn't mean sthe kittens saw their mother any less during the day, once they old enough to walk around camp, Beetlekit and his brother would waddle their way over to the Medicine Den and waste the daylight passing a mossball back and fourth through the entrance. They could easily tell that Pikeclaw's health was waning, particularly Beetlekit, who seemed the healthiest in the small family despite his crooked little teeth.
During the first two moons of Beetlepaw's apprenticeship, the young tom had to accept Pikeclaw's fate, and sat a patient vigil for her as she passed away. Antpaw was particularly stricken by her death, and though he didn't seem to frame it, one brisk night in Greenleaf, he wandered off into the dense evergreen forest and off into undeclared territories beyond. As the last member of the family, Beetlepaw was heartbroken that his brother would leave him all alone in the Clan. It took time to cope with the losses but the familial bond that Clans often shared kept the tom strong and he finished his apprenticeship in the usual time-frame.
After his ceremony, having gained the full Warrior name of Beetlefur, there wasn't so much action in his life. Time seemed to slow down to a more easygoing pace, there weren't too many battles or times of sickness, hunting was good, though not his strongest skill. He kept himself very busy, offering to do chores if apprentices were too busy, and was a diligent patrol when it came to setting out to the borders at dawn and dusk. In recent moons the tom has taken more to constructing friendships with his fellow cats, there's not much stronger than bonds in a Clan.
