Mothstorm
Name: Mothstorm
Age (in moons): 23 Moons
Gender: Tom
Allegiance: Warrior
Appearance: Mothstorm is a scruffy, white and ginger tom. He has green eyes which have been described in the past as 'striking'. He is slightly larger than an average tom, with a strong, broad build. He has a torn ear, and some fading scars can be seen on his muzzle.
Personality: Irritable by nature, Mothstorm can be quite snappy in situations in which he is provoked. Likewise, he isn't one to back down easily from a quarrel; with words or claws. Despite this, he usually knows better and holds his tongue, simply saying what has to be said- bluntly and efficiently. Mothstorm has mellowed out some from when he was younger and bolder, but can still be seen strutting around with his head held high. Despite his cocky attitude, he does mean well. He cares very much for his Clan, and would fight 'till the end of his days to defend his family. He secretly has a soft spot for kits, hoping to one day have an apprentice of his own which he can pass his knowledge on to- just don't tell anyone that, you might just end up getting your ears clawed off.
History: Mothstorm was born into the Clan as a third son in his mother, Hollyfoot's, second liter, with two elder brother's before him. He grew up a mostly shy young one, not very interested in his nursery mates, and his already elder apprentices brother's having nothing to do with him. Despite being a quiet kit, Mothstorm was very adventurous, daring to go to the edge of the camp- all by himself!
As he grew into an apprentice, he began to grow jealous of how his mother fawned over her elder sons, who had grown into two fine, young Warriors, but ever rarely commented on his own progression. It was around then Mothstorm vowed he would be not as good as them, but better. The race to catch up to them quickly turned south, Mothstorm pushing himself to his limits in his training, ending up in the Medicine Cat's Den and out again before he had healed properly. It was around this time that his mood began to turn erratic, his shy distancing turning cold. Soon the ice turned to fire, and as he aged, he became explosive.
Several moons later, his personality is what gave him his 'Storm' suffix. As a young warrior, Mothstorm used his training to his own benefit, not caring for any other than himself. He became cruel, uncaring of others, and he often disregarded those in a higher status than his own. His own selfishness pushed others away, including his mother. Hollyfoot had retired to the Elder's Den not too long after Mothstorm was a Warrior, and gradually began to stop seeing him as his foul attitude continued. Elderly and struck with grief at how her youngest son had become, she passed away.
Mothstorm was heartbroken when he heard the news, his only parent gone forever. He suddenly was hit with a wave of the realization that this wasn't how a strong Warrior behaved; this was how a greedy rouge would act. That evening, for the first time, Mothstorm sat down with his siblings as an equal, not any better, not any less.
