Lionpaw is an orange tabby cat with a white underbelly, chin, paws, and tail rings. His stripes are dark orange and can only be seen in the right light. For an Apprentice he is pretty muscular. His fur is short length and well-kept and he always tries to look his best. His eyes are a pure yellow color.
Personality: Lionpaw is a bit full of himself. He tries to be modest and polite but it always seems like his words and actions forced, even if he really means it. If you're close to him you'll see his fun-loving and playful side, but if you're of a different Clan, or someone he's not particularly fond of, all you'll see is hostility.
Lionpaw loves to be praised, especially by his mentor or someone else he looks up to. He'll stick up for his friends, but stops at where it would get him in trouble if he did. He's mostly honest, but he'll lie if he thinks it will get him off the hook for anything he's done wrong.
History: When Lionpaw was a kit he was always trying to be the best. He would wrestle with anyone he could, like his mother or warriors that came to visit, but mostly Emberkit. She was a moon older than him but he never gave up once the fight started. Their mothers would have to pull them apart when things got too rough. When Emberkit became Emberpaw a moon ahead of him, Lionkit became determined to out-do her the best he could in the nursery.
He watched the Warriors and asked the other Apprentices for tips, always keeping it a secret from Emberpaw. He practiced on piles of leaves and invisible enemies, mostly at night when he was supposed to be asleep. He worked on his running, which he's very skilled at to this day, whenever he could. Lionpaw figured if he couldn't beat anyone in a muscle fight, he could wear them down in a game of chase and get another attack in.
When he finally became an Apprentice himself he immediately took to his mentor, just by the fact that they were his mentor. His rivalry with Emberpaw never ended though. They always wrestle whenever they have the free time, using new techniques they had learned from their mentors that day. Despite Lionpaw's strength they are evenly matched, and their play fights usually end in ties.
