Name: Ashpelt
Age (in moons): 14
Gender: Male
Allegiance: MarshClan
Appearance: Ashpelt is a pale gray tom with large, bulky paws and big olive eyes. His tail isn't very long, nor short, but has a rather moderate length. (About 1/2 of a normal tail.) He's got a small build and could probably be easily assumed to be a senior apprentice. Of course, he's only been recently appointed as a warrior, so it's really no surprise.

Personality: He may not seem like it, but this timid-nature tom packs more tongue than claw. Step too close to the border and he isn't too afraid to put you back in your place. He loves MarshClan with strong desire, and would shine his loyalty at all costs. Of course, his social skills don't perform on a grade-A average. As mentioned, Ashpelt isn't very communicative and his only real goal is to defend and ascend. Unless you two have a tight bond, Ashpelt isn't going to rely on you or really even confront you with most matters.
He's always felt a little intimidated by everyone. Seeing how everyone was growing to be big and strong... And then there was him. Still as short and squat as a little kit. He was a little frustrated but hey, he turned out okay. He'd get upset when anyone would taunt him based off of his size, especially, though.
It's fortunately not too hard to become friends with Ashpelt. He's soft as a mouse and appreciates company. If you go hunting with him a couple times, you'll easily crack open his shell. He probably won't open up right away, but if you try hard enough, you shouldn't have much of a problem.
History: Ashpelt was the only male in a litter of three, and was born in early leaf-bare. It wasn't until he and his two sisters were starting to wiggle around a talk a little bit that his parents had even decided to give them names. His sisters, Snowkit and Badgerkit, unfortunately didn't make way through the leaf-bare alive. Greencough had locked them in the corner, and he and his mother narrowly evaded the illness. When his mother was going through the loss, she became cold and distant, even sometimes snapping at him and his father. She taught him to never open himself to multiple people. He is shaped from her, but believes she had logic in her teachings.
Around the time he was apprenticed, his parents decided that they wanted to live as loners, to escape the drama and live freely without the fear. In their minds, the loss of their kits was on the medicine cat's shoulders. Ashpelt at the time was surprised, and finally decided his loyalty was to MarshClan. He is sure that his parents would be proud if they could see him now; a loyal and "strong" warrior of his clan.
His apprenticeship was about the same as every other apprentice. Worked him down to the bone but still trained him well. He began to open up a little when his claws were unsheathed more often, but he's still Ashpelt, and you can't really expect him to change right away.
